Red Skull in/à Chertsey

.

This summer I returned to Chertsey where I did a lot of mythological pictures which became the book A Forest of Snakes (Premières Lignes/TRIP, 2009). In this gorgeous forest, the whole spiritual/shaman aspect pops out. That's what nature does to me.

I also had the chance to work with Luc Gagnon. He has been modeling for me since 1986, that 28 years of going on improv/photo adventures together (see the picture, The birth of Gogo Guy from 1986, one of our first collaboration). Usually, we bring a few props and masks and we improvise. Theatre for the still camera. Great fun. I also got my son to pose with us for a few pictures at the beginning.
