Godzilla à St-John

Projet de couverture pour UTOPIA

De retour de ses vacances à St-John, Stéphane Olivier m'a rapporté le journal (style VOIR) de St-John au Nouveau-Brunswick. Le collage est de Jonathan Kennedy. J'ai trouvé cela bien rigolo. La semaine prochaine Stéphane va sérigraphier 4 images du projet qui vont éventuellement accompagner la sortie du livre. Les images sont un clin d'oeil aux cartes postales de Expo 67.

J'ai aussi une ébauche de couverture, pour l'instant le titre est UTOPIA (et non Expo 67) mais ça risque de changer d'ici que le projet se termine en 2012. Stanley Wany, Meg et Marc-Olivier Lavertu vont collaborer au projet.

Back form his vacation in St-John New-Brunswick, Stéphane Olivier brought me back the Scope newspaper with a collage showing Godzilla destroying St-John. The image made me laugh! I might include futur pictures of the Island of Montreal being attacked! Next week, Stéphane will silkscreened 4 images as an hommage to the original Expo 67 postcards. The images will probably accompany the book when it launches in 2012.

I have also found a new title and cover image, the photo-novel is now called UTOPIA.
